Early childhood language support helps multilingual children

Support at an early stage for children with multilingual background helps to improve children’s skills in speaking different languages. A playful and fun environment helps children to explore different languages. Bilingual children automatically take note of differences and common items between two languages. Natural intuition helps children improving their vocabulary. Intonation and varying speeds of languages no longer come as a problem for children. Kids2Talk games help children to “play with languages” in order to passively improve their skills.

Kids2Talk games support language skills of children between 3 and 6 years of age. Some games were developed for younger children 3 to 4 years old, other games are for older children up to six years. Simple wooden toys and table toys challenge children’s imagination and linguistic creativity. Games using CD-ROMs, a puzzle with a barcode scanner and a huge map of Europe help children to explore the variety of languages in Europe. Children may listen to fairy tales, are invited to prepare a “language salad”, have to sort out a mix-up of words in a phrase and have to compare phrases in various languages.
